Year 2012

Hello all this is Opie signing in again..................

At this point we are all aware of the new year approaching of 2012.  There is a lot of things that are being said in lew of that.  Well I think this........When all this comes to pass, I am sure that there will be some changes in all things that we do.  It may not be over night but they will come to pass.  But I guess that can be said of everything that has been.  I am saying that I am not to worried about all of it.  I know that the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will direct me and protect me and my family.  Will it be hard to live after the so called event happens??  I guess no one will know that until it gets here.  In the mean time I will continue to do what I do to help people the best way I can.  Am I scared of what is to come?  No.....just like tomorrow, you never know what is gonna happen and all you can do is deal with it and keep truckin!  Many people have made the predictions, the question is do you believe what they say?  I look to the Bible and in it says that there are going to be many bad things that will come upon the earth.  But it does not give a specific date, at least to the best of my knowledge.  It also says that no man not even the Son knows the day or the hour that Christ will return.  So will in the year 2012 be when Christ returns??  Well with what I have said previously I don't know.  All I can do is continue to have faith and find happiness in all things that the Lord has provided to me!  Ask for forgiveness.  This is what I have been doing and what I suggest that you do.  If all these things do happen then I guess that is what is meant to happen.  I do think that we have ravaged Mother Earth to no end and just maybe she is upset with humanity and will make necessary changes to get her balance back.  Many things we have polluted and wiped out many natural resources.  It is sad to know that we all have done something to her.  But it did not start with us and has been going on for many years.  When does it stop??  Fact.....we are slobs.  That is what it is.  We should have learned from the animals that surround us.  But then again they are not concerned with material things.  They eat, sleep, and go to the bathroom.  Imagine how things would be if that is all we did.  Sure we need shelter, but we don't need it to be so elaborate that five other families can live there also.  Only use what you need.  No more, no less.  People are the problem.  Yes I have many friends, but I still say that we are the problem.  We are so smart that we can not even patent the idea to have a car that runs without oil.  WOW!  That is another problem.....oil.  But until we get to the point of no more oil, then we will continue to drill and consume it.  As I said before we are slobs.....think about all the trash that we toss everyday.  Maybe we should burn it....make a compost pile and redistribute into the earth and grow a garden.  Why be so dependent on someone else.  Think about it....there is not that much food and grocery stores.  So if things go crazy where are you gonna get your food?  Fresh drinking water?  Who is gonna help you?  Don't be dependent.  That is the irony of this.  We all say we are adult and independent, but yet we are so dependent on things and people.  Maybe if we are forced to make changes, then that is when we all will wake up and do things different.  As long as all our luxuries are still available, then we will continue to be wasteful and being slobs!!!!!    With all that being said I truly want you to think about all these things and be mindful and maybe we can all start making changes that will allow us a better place to exist and live until we go back home to the Father!   This is Opie signing off......................................................
